Privacy
Analytics and consent
PrintKinetic uses privacy-respecting analytics through Google Analytics with Consent Mode v2. Analytics runs cookieless (no _ga cookie, aggregate measurement only) for visitors in the EU, EEA, UK, and Switzerland by default, so there is nothing to consent to and no cookie banner is shown. Everywhere else, analytics is on by default and turns cookieless the moment your browser signals Global Privacy Control. No advertising cookies, remarketing tags, or ad-personalization signals are ever sent, in any region.
What stays in your browser
Every planning tool computes its result on your device. The values you type into a calculator, such as part dimensions, load estimates, or filament choice, are never sent to a server, logged, or included in an analytics event. Analytics only records that a page or tool category was used, never the specific numbers you entered or the specific result you received.
Local geometry analysis
Where the site offers local inspection of an STL file, that file is read and processed entirely inside your browser using standard web APIs. The file's bytes, its filename, and any geometry derived from it are never uploaded to a server, stored remotely, or included in any analytics event. Closing the tab or reloading the page removes the file from memory, since nothing is written anywhere outside your browser session.
Saved preferences
If a tool offers to remember a preference, such as a default filament or a unit system, that preference is stored using your browser's localStorage, on your device only. It is never transmitted anywhere. Clearing your browser's site data removes it.
Hosting, logs, and questions
The site is served as static files through Cloudflare Pages, which may retain standard infrastructure logs (such as IP address and request timing) for security and abuse prevention, independent of the site's own analytics. Questions about this policy can be sent to privacy@printkinetic.com.
